Sierra View Care Center
After his hip surgery in May, my brother, Vincent, had been admitted to Sierra View Care Center for his transitional recovery. During his stay, he was cared for by the wonderful medical team (doctors, nurses, therapists, aides…) and staff at the Center. In addition, the Center is clean and neat. It is a quiet place for patients to rest and recover after a major surgery/illness. Thank you to the wonderful team and staff at Sierra View Care Center.
I was recently discharged from Sierra View Care Center in Baldwin Park, after recovering from a broken leg, and I cannot say enough about the quality of care and service provided here. From the moment I stepped through the doors, the environment was warm, welcoming, and professional. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized, creating a safe and comfortable space for residents and their families.
The staff at Sierra View Care Center are truly dedicated to their work. The nurses, aides, and administrative staff go above and beyond to ensure each resident receives personalized care. They are not only highly skilled but also compassionate, treating every individual with dignity and respect. It’s clear that they take pride in making the residents feel at home.
They provide high quality rehabilitation services, which has made a significant difference in my recovery and my overall well-being.
Moreover, the activities and social programs offered at Sierra View Care Center are thoughtfully designed to engage the residents, promoting both physical and mental health. It’s heartwarming to see the joy and interaction among the residents during these activities, which is a testament to the center’s commitment to holistic care.

This was my father second time being here. So many positive things I can say about this facility let’s start with my dad looks great. You can tell when people care they do he actually is missing the staff he said they treated me so well. Thank you Guys so much. You made me feel safe leaving my father in your hands twice. Great communication over all front desk attendants to the nurses treatment nurses Roland,Linda and the social workers Priscilla and Jessica. Also a Cynthia forgive me for not remembering everyone’s name, the kitchen as well thank you. I do want everybody to know The facility is very clean and welcoming.
The staff at this care center are extremely competent and caring. In addition you can tell you can really trust them with your loved ones. I highly recommend!
Great place they took care of my dad well while he was there. The whole staff was nice and attentive.
Thankyou SVCC for caring for my sister the last 9 years, thru COVID, thru her dementia, knowing my name & calling me at home for progress as well as health needs. The med nurses, station nurses (Priscilla) supervisor (Edwin), hostess, social worker, work so hard to make us feel like family. This is not an easy job, temp aides have to be used as in all facilities, but this one is exceptional because the home staff communicate so well with family & everyone knows your name. May love & blessings continue at this facility. Truly, my sister Carmen is at home here & love was given during her final days. Thank you.
Attentive nursing staff and administration. They are kind to patients as well as to concerned families.
Hi Whitney, I’m Sharan. I am rejoicing this time. You have a wonderful employee, Joanna. She just blows my mind. She is a jack of all trades and who would know she fixed my phone and ran quicker I have no idea how she did it. She is a wizard!!! She deserves an employee of the month. She gets the TV rolling im like in a theater. EXCELLENT Customer Service!!!! She works beyond her scope. She is an asset to the facility. She should be awarded!!! Thank you!
Love the staff. They have always been very helpful and supportive when I go to visit my grandparents. Would recommend for anyone looking for great care for their family.
My sister was recently a patient at this facility and had received excellent service. The nursing staff from CNAs, charge nurses, and supervisors were all very professional, compassionate, and were attentive to my sister’s needs. They were all very pleasant & I feel their staff treated their patients like they were family. Very caring staff including the rehab dept who were very nice and patient to my sister. I spoke with the Administrator right before my sister was discharged and complimented him for his exceptional team. Social Services made my sister’s discharge process very smooth..very efficient. The treatment nurse was also great & has consistently attended to my sister’s needs. Kudos to this nursing facility team, and I will highly recommend it to anyone needing this type of service!!!
Thank you again for everything..too many names to mention but you were all awesome!!!
Of all the facilities that we’ve had family members residing in, this is by far the best one that we’ve ever experienced.
My mom is a patient at this facility and she has witnessed how much the staff tries their best to strongly protect them from contracting COVID-19. She always calls to tell me how happy she is that she’s in this facility. As a high-risk patient, she’s always been so nervous at other facilities but Sierra View is top notch.
Overall, the facility is well maintained, clean and complies will necessary COVID safety precautions. I feel assured that my mom is safe at this facility. The staff is easy to communicate with and always willing to help when needed. Definitely giving this facility high marks all the way through.
I was at Sierra View for 2 weeks after having my hip surgery and it was a great experience. Yamilette came to Queen of the valley hospital and talked to me about what to expect and guided me through the entire process so that I didn’t feel lost since I had never been at a rehab center before. I had my nice warm meals every day on time, I had therapy everyday except for the weekends and all of the nurses were very nice and helpful.
My Dad (who has advanced dementia) was fortunate to be transferred here after suffering a bad fall to his head from his previous assisted living facility earlier this year. To be honest, we weren’t even sure he was going to make it. However, the care and PT/OT he received here helped him recover better than we could imagine! For the times I visited, this facility is very clean, safe, and organized. You can tell this is a strict and well-runned facility. They also have strict covid protocols in place. They also inform family members right away when there are changes in patient’s condition. My Dad is now being transferred to his new assisted living facility nearby, but, we are so grateful he was surrounded by caregivers and nurses that nurtured him back to a new baseline. Special shout out to Jeannette & Toni (Admissions), RN’s Cynthia & Marilyn, Anna & Honey (Activities), and his caregivers. Maraming Salamat Po! Thank you again Sierra View Care Center!
Choosing a facility for a loved one is always a difficult decision, I’ve experienced this when my grandmother was referred to a Health Care facility for rehabilitation after a terrible fall. I came across a few facility, yet after visiting Sierra View I automatically knew this would be the perfect short term rehabilitation for her physical therapy. The facility went beyond meeting our expectations. She received extraordinarily Care from the caregivers who assisted her routinely, the nutritionist who ensured she received the daily nutrients needed to strengthen her for her rehabilitation routines. My grandmother made great improvements working with a team of professionals that not only uplifted her spirits, but also help keep her safe during such a vulnerable time in her life. Thank you to all who worked directly with giving her the fundamental treatments need to getting her back home to her family and friends.
My sister spent nearly 5 months at Sierra Care, recuperating from a broken leg. I visited several times a week and was never disappointed or upset with the care she was receiving. All members of the staff were very pleasant to work with as well as knowledgeable and professional in their duties. The facility, itself, was always spotlessly clean and seemed to always have workers on site attending to any structural needs. The staff seemed to take a lot of pride in their work, demonstrating a positive and friendly attitude. The PT staff worked hard to help my sister get back to the challenge of walking again. Sierra Care did not seem understaffed, and any requests or questions, from asking for ice to financial questions, were quickly addressed. They seemed to truly care about patient care and comfort. The atmosphere at Sierra Care was friendly, professional, welcoming, and on occasion, celebratory. I felt my sister’s concerns were met, even if it were a special dietary request, and that she was well cared for during this time she was not able to be self sufficient and safely at home. She was treated with respect, and as an individual, with every effort made to accommodate her needs and requests, in a caring and professional manner. We both hope that she will not have to return as a patient anytime soon, but it is very reassuring that there is a care center that is run so efficiently, with a staff that works well together in such a professional and caring manner. I would highly recommend considering Sierra Care if the need for such a facility should arise.
The team at Sierra View Care Center “care” about the patients and one another. I was a patient for about six weeks and because I am a professional and entrepreneur I am trained to observe and “see” the inner workings of an institution/company. What I observed was caring and service as the “culture” of the organization. Kindness, client care, coordination of services and sharing of information happens daily each staff member always doing more to ensure clients receive the very best therapy and health care. A great deal of time and coordinated effort from physical/occupational therapy, charge nurse, director of nursing, admission and social worker went into getting me here to New Jersey to help my sister as she passes from this life. I am profoundly grateful.
